CIT Program - Ages 14 - 18
The Counsellor-in-Training (CIT) program is a two-week program that puts emphasis on team-building, goal-setting, communication, and leadership skills. This program offers a community-based approach to leadership, and participants will apply the skills they learn to community and camp events. Participants gain experience as counsellors and in program development, and they spend time helping in cabins during the Youth Venture Camp for children with physical and developmental disabilities. Enrollment to this program is limited. Participants must be at least 14 years of age by June of the summer they apply.
